My friend Mike Mennard
You might like to read a nice article in The Lincoln Journal Star about my friend Mike Mennard. He does live concerts for kids all over the state of Nebraska and around the country in grade schools, fairs, festivals and church socials. His music is geared for children, but when I look around the crowd, I always see looks of glee on the faces of their teachers and parents.
His recent CD "We Have it All in Nebraska" is being used in the Lincoln Public School System in their Nebraska History classes to teach the 'facts' about Nebraska History. The CD makes learning fun.

David Arthur Roach
David Roach died on July 30, 2009.
He never forgot that he came from Haigler and always returned for Alumni/Memorial weekend when he could. As you may remember, he often brought all his family and extended family back to see his parents and his home, the house we now live in, the Roach house. He was a wonderful individual and shall certainly be missed.
