Congrats to Mel Smith

The following letter was written by Mel's administrator:

Good Afternoon All,
Our Laboratory just finished an intense 2 day on-site COLA Lab Accreditation survey. The survey ensures laboratories stay in compliance with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and CMS requirements. COLA is approved by CMS to accredit laboratories in the following specialties:
· Chemistry
· Hematology
· Microbiology
· Immunology
· Immunohematology/transfusion services
· Pathology, including cytology, histopathology, and oral pathology

Drum roll please... Not only did we receive our accreditation the surveyor stated it was an “Excellent Survey” and praised our staff for “Tremendous Improvement Since 2007”.

Please help me in congratulating Mel Smith and his crew Denice Arrowsmith, Lawrence Soria, Lychee ILumba, Sierra Weakly, Rochelle Bartling, James Snelling, Amanda Pape and Stacie Harvey on a job very well done. Thank you.
