We received word that Dusty Wall passed away this morning. His Mom was with him and Duane had just gotten home but is on his way back to North Carolina. Our sympathy goes out the the Wall family.
Please don't tell her that is me with her at Hollywood and Vine, she thinks it was Kevin Cosner! She was standing on Red Skelton's star on Hollywood Blvd. Besides being forced to walk way to far she had a great time!
David Sims passed away this morning. There will be a service on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sutton Mortuary, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman AZ 86431.
Its been awhile since I mentioned District 67 South and the Cornerstone Museum here on The Haigler Blog. I was searching for "Haigler Stuff" this morning and again ran across an article in the McCook Gazette telling about the way this project began. I thought you might like to go read it again.
When you are visiting the Haigler area or if you live nearby, be sure to stop by and visit the block south of the highway to see the progress of this project.
I want to say again, THANK YOU to Stan and LaNeta Carlock and the others involved. Those of us who do not live there appreciate what people do to keep Haigler Memories alive.
