Update: Paul Freehling
Update: July 26, 2011
It looks like Paul will get out of the hospital tomorrow. He plans on spending three days in Lincoln.
Update: July 24, 2011
Paul had a pacemaker put in this morning. Cal reports that he is doing well.
Update; July 18, 2011
Brother Paul had heart surgery this morning, it lasted over four hours. They repaired two valves and did two by passes. I guess he is doing ok. He will be in the hospital five to seven days.
~CF
Brother Paul's operation is now scheduled for July 18th.

Say a prayer for Paul Freehling today as he goes in for heart surgery.
His brother Cal writes, "Brother Paul will be operated on Friday, July 8 at The Bryan Heart Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. A valve repair or possible replacement plus two by passes."

Just a reminder that THE MIKEY RIDE is just around the corner. Susie and I would like to invite all of you and anyone you know that would like to come. If you do not have a bike no big deal please come to our house at 5:00 P.M. for supper. Remember to go to our web site themikeyride.com or Facebook page The Mikey Ride to check out some of the items we will be auctioning off this year. Again a reminder this year we are trying to raise money for Megan (Smith) Friesen originally from Wallace. HI SHERRI,
NICE REQUEST
NICE LIST OF THE MILITARY PERSONELL. SHOWS HOW DEDICATED THESE MEN WERE TO THEIR COUNTRY. SOME LIED ABOUT THEIR AGE OR DIDNT FINISH HIGH SCHOOL. THE LARGE NUMBERS ARE ASTOUNDING FOR A SMALL COMMUNITY AS I KNOW IT.
FUTHERMORE, WERE THE KOREAN WAR, THE VIET-NAM ERA, DESERT STORM, IRAQ AND AFGANISTAN.
I KNOW I SERVED, HAVE MY DISCHARGE PAPERS, BUT DO NOT THINK I AM LISTED AS A VETERAN. COULD YOU PLEASE FIND OUT FOR ME. I GOT MY DRAFT NOTICE FROM DUNDY CO. BUT WENT AHEAD AND ENLISTED IN THE ARMY.
MANY OTHERS WOULD PROBABLY WANT THEIR NAME PUBLISHED THAT SERVED, I CAN THINK OF A COUPLE NAMES RIGHT NOW.
THANX
DALLAS

Thanks for the note, Dallas. Your name is already listed with the Vietnam Vets along with all Veterans that I know about. If you know of someone who is not listed, please let me know.
