Dundy County Churches
Can someone tell me where the churches mentioned in this inquiry are located and maybe answer these questions?
My grandfather attended a couple of churches in Dundy, County Nebraska when he was a child. My aunt and I were up there the 2nd weekend in May and we found a little white church beside the St Paul Lutheran Church on Road 726 and then a couple miles south we found a pretty brick church . My grandfather said he attended a little white church and a little brick church as a child. Is there any history on these churches? His name was Benjamin Matters Trembly (6/7/1903 - 8/25/1992), his parents were John Nelson Trembly( 8/10/1863 - 5/2/1928) and Jane Anne Matters Trembly (5/27/1865 - 1/1/1939) . While there we also visited the Mt.Zion Cemetary. We were so pleased to see that someone had gone in and cleaned it up as we made a quick trip up there over Thanksgiving about 7 years ago and it was so run down. Thanks to whoever did this.
We were curious about these two churches and just wondered if they have kept any type of history.
Thank you for your time.

Southwest Nebraska experiencing mini oil boom
Oil Boom in Hitchcock and Dundy Counties. Read article
Southwest Nebraska experiencing mini oil boom
"What's even more amazing is that half of all that production is coming from two small counties in the southwest corner of the state.
Hitchcock and Dundy counties, which border Kansas and, in Dundy's case, Colorado, are seeing unprecedented amounts of drilling and production."
..."Wells in Dundy County produced 405,000 barrels of oil in 2013, Sydow said, a nearly 60 percent increase over the 254,000 barrels produced in 2012 and more than double the 193,000 barrels in 2011."

Delores Zuege
We lost a dear and beautiful lady yesterday.
Delores Zuege will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her kind and sweet disposition. She was never without a smile and always had a cheerful, uplifting word.
We are heartbroken for her family and friends.
