I remember your dad. He was an excellent horse shoe player. The horse shoe pit was located between Sullivan's Merchantile Clothing Store and the old Munson Hotel.
Seems as the players had some kind of tournament in the large vacant lot on the east side of main street. How your dad put the spin on the shoe and have the end open for the ringer at the very end is amazing!
