How surprised I was when I opened the Haigler Blog link to find that there was a link to the blogs I write for the Weatherbug. I read about the Haigler Blog in the Benkelman Post and thought I would take a look at it.
We moved to Dundy County from Missouri in 1979 and became involved with the county centennial effort shortly thereafter. I remember working with Laura Pearl Wall and others from Haigler as we set out to celebrate the founding of the county. I also have an interest in Haigler because my wife, Janice, taught school there for several years until the school merged with the Benkelman school system to become Dundy County Schools.
I also worked for a time as a news writer for the Benkelman Post and covered many stories from the Haigler area.
The blog looks good, keep up the good work and I will try to include some weather information from the western part of the county now when I write for the Weatherbug.
