Good Lawdy! I'm confused with all of Violett's relatives. I have 10 fingers and 10 toes and I can't fathom how in the world she keeps track of everyone!!
Question about the Samson family name: Were there two Sampson brothers who kept getting one anothers mail?? So they settled their dispute with one brother dropping the letter "P" from the name so the postmaster would live happily thereafter. (Samson - Sampson) Is this true??
Would there be more aunts and uncles and cousins to add to the list?? It would be interesting to know the answer.
Just curious. I knew some Sampsons in Haigler before they moved to Oregon.
