MARLIN STUTE WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND SOCIABLE ON MY VISITS BACK TO HAIGLER. HE WILL BE MISSED, BUT THAT SMILE WILL LAST FOREVER. TO ME, HE WAS A PILLAR IN THE BONDING OF THE COMMUNITY. MARLIN WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.
Marlin was a real TROOPER, I was a member of the Haigler Legion with him for over 40 years. He and his late wife Eva promoted the new building in a large financial way, I know as I was the Secretary of the Building Fund.Eva paid for all the fixtures in the Ladies Restroom. Marlin loved serving soup at the annual December soup supper which raised money for the school childrens Christmas candy. Not many of the WWII Veterans left at Haigler.
