Response to John Hubert's Note / Colfer Junction
In response to John Hubert's notes about visiting Haigler 70 years ago. Thought he would like to know that we live in the Charlie/Lottie Roach home. He talked of his Mother (Mary Roach)'s parents living just north of Colfer. This was called Colfer Junction - 3-4 miles east of Haigler and just north at RR tracks. My grandparents, James and Bertha Myer, lived on what was known as the Cary Will farm in the early 1930's when the flood of 1935 occurred. Some of us know it as the old Glen Kuhns' place - now it is the turnoff to the Bush farm. --LaNeta Carlock
