Brenda (Brewer) Schilk grew up in the Haigler area. She is the daughter of Leah (Gregory) and Dwight Brewer who farmed "The Gregory Farm" with my folks. Mom & dad retired and moved to Colorado where my mom taught school, then on to Tucson, Arizona and Dwight & Leah bought the farm from them.
But back to Brenda. She is a true farm child. She loved living in the country and had many "farm animal" pets when she was growing up. The one I remember the best is "Pet", the banty chicken who attended the family Thanksgiving gathering in 1983.
Brenda is now a nurse, is married and has two wonderful little boys. They live in Tucson, Arizona.
