Penny was baptized in Zion Luthern Church in Haigler, Nebraska and confirmed in Trenton, Nebraska. She was a member of Ascension Luthern Church, Witchita, Kansas, at the time of her death.
Penny was united in marriage to Dean Cranston on October 19, 1985, in Trinity Luthern Church in Colby, Kansas, and lived in Colby 9 years before moving to Witchita, Kansas.
Penny served her Lord through her local congregation during her years through helping with Bible study in Colby and recently joined L. W. M. L. Tabitha Circle at Ascension.
Surviving to morn her death are her husband Dean, parents Ivan & Patricia Parker, and her brother Rocky.
