Memorial Day 2015 in Benkelman

Dear Friends,

Again this year, my daughter Brittany shot a 20-second video of Stan Jones' flyover at the cemetery on Memorial Day 2015.  This year was much cloudier than last year, and this year Britt managed to include the giant American flag as a leading actor in the event. Crank your sound up to hear the strains of Taps.

Many of your know this, but for those who don't--Stan is flying a T6, the same training plane that his father Vinton flew in World War II.  I know I was not the only one who became a bit choked-up as the T6 roared its way through the crowd.  Well done, Stan!

PS: I hope to see you all at this event in 2016.  I have been asked to speak again, and will be featuring the Dundy County boys in the European Theatre of World War II.
