Some that I remember are:
- Kill one bee and 50 more come to the funeral
- Another one related to a fishing pole that had a big reel: "Darn if you couldn't wrap barbed wire on that reel."
- Teeth so crooked (buck teeth) you could eat corn off the cob through a picket fence.
Anyways, wish I remembered a lot of the old sayings, but don't.
This blog is very interesting and has already connected me to some former Haiglerites. Thank you very much in all your endeavors and all the hard work in establishing this site.
