This is a picture of my uncle Lloyd
Crabtree's unit when he served in World War II. This picture was taken in Italy. His duties included driving officers where they needed to go. One day he was privileged to drive General
Eisenhower around. The names of the men in this picture are written on the back of the picture and I have included them below.
Lloyd grew up around
Haigler and lived here until his death in 1999. He is
buried in the
Haigler Cemetery.
Can someone tell me if the James Boyd listed here is also from the
Haigler area? The name sounds familiar.
