HAIGLER HAPPENINGS

The Haigler United Methodist Women hosted their annual Holiday Bazaar and dinner last Saturday, December 3; and the Haigler Lutheran Church held their Christmas luncheon that day.  There were lots of holiday goodies to enjoy.


Yes, it's happening again in Haigler; so hoping you are getting in the holiday spirit and marking your calendar to come to Haigler on Saturday afternoon, December 17.  It is the 3rd annual Winter Holiday Festival--this year happening before Christmas so you all won't yet be exhausted from your busy holiday schedules.  This event is one you--adults and children throughout our tri-state area do not want tomiss.  As a gift to the communities that have supported all the events in Haigler, admission is free to the festival.  Festivities begin at 3p.m. at the Cornerstone Center and will conclude by 5 p.m.   The historic gymnasium will be decorated in a winter wondlerland.  Santa will be waiting for you to have pictures taken with him.   Lots of new and fun activities this year.  Bring a Christmas tree ornament andhelp decorate live Christmas trees.

Bring a canned good for the Dundy County Food pantry. There will be live music, singing and dancing, goodies to eat and s'mores to create over the warm fire pit.  Gifts and a drawing for you to win a laser holiday light projector await you.  Try your hand at cracking the jolly present piñata filled with holiday goodies.  See if you can make a gingerbread house.  Color on the tablecloths and so much more.  Fresh oranges from Texas (sent by Beryl Adams, one of our oldest
Haigler Alumni) will be given to attendees.  And, at the close of the festival, get your free ticket to climb aboard the decorated Reindeer Bus with Santa & music to tour the Haigler Village Christmas lights. You really don't want to miss any of this so plan to come at 3 o'clock.  Enjoy a small town atmosphere..filled with holiday delights and holiday memories for young & old!  See you in Haigler on Saturday
