I wanted to share with everyone that reads the Haigler Blog, that our NewsLady really does go out of her way to create and help make our Haigler History come back to life. I took it upon myself to take a picture of Sherri working while in Haigler and wanted to share it with you so you know she actually does get out and about doing research.As we drove up and down each street and alley of our great little town, we were both trying to remember the history of each place we looked at, which was about every standing place in town. I was amazed how much I had forgotten and wondered how accurate were the things I did remember. Putting both of our memories and thoughts together we still didn't know a whole lot of history and had forgotten about even some Old Timers whose names we ran across at the cemetery. We were both amazed that Jake's place, according to the entrance, was once a pharmacy. ( And by the way, Jake's place serves the BEST HAMBURGERS a person could ask for).
Sherri enjoys doing research on this Blog and tries to make sure everything is the most accurate. She goes out of her way trying to get ahold of people that has more information on Haigler, along with getting copies of old pictures and taking pictures herself. Don't be bashful, if you have any information to share we are all waiting to read it and remember it with you, and good laughs about some of our happenings will keep us all young at heart.
