The family of  Don & Joann Webster hosted an Open House Sunday, August 1, in honor of their  60th Wedding Anniversary at the Haigler Legion Hall. Several relatives and  friends, out of town and local, attended making it a very special  celebration.
George & Elaine Corkle from Walden, Colorado were weekend  guests of Don & Joann Webster.
On Sunday, August 1, Don & Joann Webster and George &  Elaine Corkle visited Lester Adams in the Wray Community District  Hospital.
Daniela Webster of  Iowa City arrived on Saturday, July 31, to attend her grandparents 60th Wedding  Anniversary Open House and spend several days visiting in the home of her  parents Stan & Galena, Darrell and other relatives and  friends.
Wednesday, July  27, Dale Faylors sister, Joan Spears and her husband, Bob, from Boonville, CA  and Joan’s son, Tom Kerns from Orinda, CA arrived at Dale and Dode Faylor’s  home.  On Thursday Faylor’s daughter,  Sherri Morabito, from Burlington, CO, and Daneen Hilger, whose home is between  Topeka and Lawrence, KS arrived at Faylor’s.    Later that afternoon, Kathe Kerns, Tom’s wife arrived.  Kathe flew to Denver then rented a vehicle to  come on to the ranch.  They came for the  Brown reunion that was on Saturday, July 31.   On Friday, Yvonne Clemans and foster son, Anthony, from Burlington, CO  were at the Faylors for dinner.  That  afternoon Yvonne, Anthony and Sherri Morabito returned to Burlington.  On Saturday, July 31, there were  approximately 50 relatives at the Brown reunion in St. Francis. The reunion was  held at the Senior Center.  On Sunday,  Aug 1, Joan and Bob Spears left Faylors to visit more relatives in several  different places, before returning to their home in California.  Daneen Hilger returned to her home on Sunday  also.  Tom and Kathe Kerns visited with a  cousin of Tom’s in Wauneta, NE on Sunday; then left Faylor’s early Monday  morning, August 2, to catch a plane in Denver.   They then flew to Kentucky.  Tom  is doing a lot of searching into ancestral background.  They have several other places they will be  traveling to after Kentucky - some pleasure and other concerning Tom’s search  into family history before they return to their home in  California.
Among the visitors at Sophia  Zuege's home on Sunday were her son, Albert, Jr. and wife Ginny, Marlin Crouse,  a neice, Marie Schultye, from Hays, KS, Eleanor Keller, Linda Castor of  Albuquerque, NM, Ted and Esther Wallace from Denver.  Laura Pearl Wall dropped  by a few times throughout the week.
The Mulligan families, Skip,  Melissa, Alayna and Chaz from South Carolina, and Charlie and Myrna from  Haigler, attended the Demolition Derby on Sunday night at the Dundy County Fair  in Benkelman.
Skip, Melissa, Alayna and Chaz Mulligan departed by Delta Airlines from Denver on Wednesday, July 28th, to return to their home in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. They had been guests in the home of Skip's parents, Charlie and Myrna Mulligan and had enjoyed visiting with other relatives during their stay.

Laura Pearl Wall accompanied  Quentin, Tonya and Taya Simmons to Westmister on Saturday to attend the 10th  birthday party of Laura Perila.  Othere relatives who attended were  grandparents, MerryLu and Bob Simmons, Laura's brother, Spencer and sister,  Madison.  It was a fun party held in the spacious back yard at the Perila Home.   Many friends enjoyed the swimming Pool and delicious food.
Mel Fisher visited his  Mother, Floy Fisher, one afternoon last week.  He has had a short break between  jobs to be at his home south of Laird.
