The Herbert J. Hughes Memorial Trust will give two $500 scholarships to seniors residing in Chase or Dundy County or graduating from Imperial, Wauneta or Benkelman High Schools.
The applicants must pursue advanced education in an agriculture related field.
The scholarship is in memory of Herbert J. Hughes, who was one of the founders of the National Wheat Growers and the Chase-Dundy County Wheat Growers Association, and the Nebraska-Wyoming Wheat Growers Association.
Applications are at the schools and are due April 1.
